How to Use the Extension

1. Creating New Customers Using a CVR Number

  • Navigate to the Customers section in Business Central.
  • Select Create from CVR.
  • Enter the CVR number of the company you wish to add as a customer.
  • The extension will retrieve and populate the company’s name, address, industry code, and other relevant information.
  • Review the information and click Create to add the new customer record.

2. Retrieving Detailed Company Information

  • Open an existing customer record in Business Central.
  • Click on Get CVR Information.
  • Enter the customer’s CVR number or select it from the available field.
  • The extension will fetch the latest information from the CVR Register and display it for review.
  • Choose to update existing fields with the retrieved data if changes are detected.

3. Validating Customer Data

  • Navigate to Customer Data Validation in the extension menu.
  • Select the customer records you wish to validate.
  • Click Validate with CVR to compare the stored data against the official data in the CVR Register.
  • Review any discrepancies and update records as needed to ensure data accuracy.

Troubleshooting and Support

  • Cannot Connect to CVR Register: Verify that your API key is correctly entered and that your subscription to the CVR Register service is active.
